In the tracks of Marion's seals
Geolocation Journeys supports marine conservation and scientific discovery by providing tracking devices (called geolocators) to projects that investigate the journeys of marine top predators. This year a collaboration between Prof. Mary-Anne Lea from the University of Tasmania and Prof. Nico de Bruyn from the University of Pretoria were supported with 25 new geolocators to follow the migrations of Antarctic Fur Seals on subantarctic Marion Island.
